Azienda Agricola Lozza

Towards the end of the 1940s, Nonno Giocondo began cultivating a few small vineyards. This is how the Azienda Agricola Lozza was born. The passion for his work, the pride of showing flourishing and well-tended vineyards, of obtaining increasingly appreciated products at the cost of not a few sacrifices, pushed Nonno to buy more land, increasing the cultivated surface up to the current 10 hectares.

Organic farming

Care for the plants, respect for the environment, no forcing of production, careful and meticulous processing respecting nature's cycles, and special attention in all work phases are the fundamental conditions for obtaining superior quality products.

The quantities of grapes obtained are deliberately limited in order to obtain the best quality. Our grapes are harvested strictly by hand after careful selection and sorting; only the best and well ripened bunches are picked and transported to the winery. This is where the long process begins: traditional vinification with maceration of the skins for the red grapes; soft pressing and cold vinification with controlled temperature fermentation for the white grapes. The wines produced are made from Barbera, Croatina, Uva Rara, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Muscat grapes.
